How to post Bail
If you, a friend or a loved one are arrested and taken to the Palmdale Sheriff’s Station, there are several things you should know about posting bail bonds or having bail bonds posted on your behalf to secure your released from custody.

Ways to Post Bail Bonds in Palmdale
There are two ways you can go about posting bail bonds in the City of Palmdale.
The 1st way you can post bail bonds in the City of Palmdale, is by posting what is called a cash bail bond. This is the full bail amount and is only accepted in cash or in the form of a cashier’s check.
Cash or cashier’s checks received will be held by the court and returned to the defendant once the case is completed, so long as the defendant appears at each court appearance.
Please note: The Palmdale Sheriff’s Station is not responsible for returning any cash bail bonds received.

Cash Bail Bond Refunds
When the inmate’s case is concluded, the court will refund the cash bail bond to the defendant minus any cost or fees incurred. The fees paid to a bail bonds company are not refundable.
Inmate Release
After the cash bail or bail bond has been paid, the release process in Palmdale could take up to an hour to two hours. But, please be patient there are several factors that influence how long the release process will take. It really all boils down to how busy the jail is at the time the bail bond is received.
